“Glazura” is a coating or glaze employing an enamel technique, which is used as a protective layer in ceramics. Its function is to paint, embellish or seal and strengthen pottery against water. It enables cleaning and resistance to damage of its exterior. The artist’s tones of glazing are inspired by the colors of the earth and nature that is around her. The colors’ unique characteristics come from the glaze fired at a high temperature in the gas kiln.
